Reggae Boyz Face Huge Challenge Against Honduras

Reggae Boyz face 'huge challenge' against Honduras

Underdogs Jamaica set to put up a fight in crucial World Cup qualifier

Jamaica's Reggae Boyz will have their work cut out for them when they take on Honduras in a must-win World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.

The Boyz are currently bottom of the CONCACAF standings with just two points from four games, while Honduras are third with seven points.

A win for Jamaica would keep their hopes of reaching the final round of qualifying alive, but a defeat would all but end their chances.

Boyz confident despite being underdogs

Despite being the underdogs, the Reggae Boyz are confident they can get a result against Honduras.

"We know it's going to be a tough game, but we're prepared for it," said Jamaica captain Andre Blake.

"We have a good team and we're confident we can get a win."

Honduras will be looking to build on their recent good form

Honduras will be looking to build on their recent good form, which has seen them win their last two qualifiers.

The Catrachos are currently third in the CONCACAF standings with seven points from four games, and a win against Jamaica would put them in a strong position to reach the final round of qualifying.

Honduras coach Fabian Coito is confident his team can get a win against Jamaica.

"We know Jamaica is a good team, but we're confident we can beat them," said Coito.

"We have a good team and we're prepared for the game."
