Alisha Lehmann has revealed the one thing that annoys her about football after joining her boyfriend Douglas Luiz at Juventus

The Swiss striker, who is dating the Brazilian midfielder, says she is frustrated by the lack of respect shown to women's football.

Lehmann, who has played for Arsenal and West Ham, believes that the women's game is often overlooked and undervalued.

"It's frustrating because I think women's football is just as good as men's football," she said.

"We have the same skills, the same passion, but we don't get the same respect.

"I think it's important to keep fighting for equality in football

"We need to make sure that women's football is given the same opportunities as men's football.

"We need to make sure that women's football is broadcast on TV, that we have the same facilities, and that we have the same access to funding.

"I think that if we can do that, then we can really start to see women's football grow and reach its full potential."

Lehmann joined Juventus in the summer and is hoping to help the Italian club win the Women's Champions League this season.

Juventus have never won the competition, but Lehmann believes that they have a good chance of doing so this year.

"I think we have a very good team," she said.

"We have a lot of experienced players, and we have a lot of young players who are hungry to succeed.

"I think we can go all the way this season.

"We just need to take it one game at a time and focus on winning each game.

"I think if we can do that, then we can really achieve something special this season."
